Pumpkinfest is Franklin’s beloved fall street festival, filling Historic Main Street with costumes, live music, autumn food and drink, and one of the best fall afternoons of the year. Now in its 41st year and expanded to two days for 2026, it is Middle Tennessee’s largest family fall festival. As always, Landmark Booksellers throws open its doors and lines the front portico with local authors signing books all weekend.

What to expect
Presented by the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, Pumpkinfest stretches along Main Street and its side avenues in downtown Franklin. Expect a marketplace of the region’s finest seasonal arts and crafts, autumn-inspired food and drink, non-stop live music, and Franklin’s famous costume contests for kids, adults, and pets. It is free, family-friendly, and one of the most festive weekends on the Franklin calendar, with more than 115,000 people turning out in 2025.

Right in the heart of the festival at 114 East Main Street, Landmark Booksellers is one of the best stops of the weekend. We open our doors to the crowds and line the front portico with local authors signing their books both days. Step in out of the bustle, browse tens of thousands of new and pre-owned books, meet the authors, and find a signed copy to take home.

When is Pumpkinfest 2026?
Pumpkinfest 2026 is Saturday and Sunday, October 24–25. Hours are 9:30am to 6:00pm on Saturday and 10:45am to 5:00pm on Sunday. For the first time, the festival runs across two days.
Where is Pumpkinfest held?
Along Historic Main Street and its side avenues in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Landmark Booksellers sits right in the middle of it at 114 East Main Street.
Is Pumpkinfest free?
Yes. Admission is free and the festival is open to all ages.
